A Brief

Yalla Mishwar is a social enterprise that is established by the Yalla Project to promote and innovate the tourism industry in Nablus.

The enterprise’s profit is aimed at financially sustaining the Yalla Project’s non-for-profit work like cultural and academic activities and to be our social interface with the community and city visitors.

The Yalla Mishwar opens a window towards the wondrous life of Nablus with its history, architecture, society and food culture.

The Yalla Mishwar considers itself a tool for urban regeneration of the old town of Nablus, hence, while using our services you are also part of this process

WE ARE A NETWORK

Most of our services are provided through a network of local providers to expand our social impact. We work with housewives, young tour guides, neighbor’s shops and small scale businesses to support their initiatives.

aRCHITECTURAL REGENERATION

WE REVITALIZE SPACES

As part of the Yalla Project objectives, our tourism business focuses its activities in the old town of Nablus to take part in the regeneration processes of the town.

The revenues of our businesses renovated three old buildings, supported the renovation of six others, and brought life back to a neglected neighborhood and created jobs for multiple families that work with us.

GREEN VISION

WE ARE GOING GREEN AND BIO

We have a green agenda. We start this by establishing the first rooftop organic farm in Nablus. This is just a pilot project, we are expanding to make the rooftops of Nablus old town productive organic farms.

DEFUSED KITCHEN

A KITCHEN OF KITCHENS

Our catering service is provided through our defused kitchen which is a network of kitchens run by women from the old town of Nablus. Our defused kitchen benefits multiple families and creates income to families in need
